Where has this year gone? We were
lucky this hurricane season that the
nasties left us alone. I was able,
without electrical interruptions, to
finish writing my poetry anthology,
POETIC PETALS, which will be
released in a few days. MOONLIGHT
MELODY, another romantic adventure,
and COMING AND GOING, my first
attempt at writing a romantic
comedy, should be released in 2007.
I can't let this year slip by
without thanking all the people I
worked with last year: Bill Keefrey,
a magician with a camera, and Bob
Saley, another computer guru with
lighting and shadowing. Jon
Frangipane, a talented pianist,
composer, theatre director, leader
of the Ft. Lauderdale Writer's
Group, and editor of the Lighthouse
Point Magazine. Gary Clark, my
pianist who bangs out the black and
white difficult notes when I sing
off key. Ben Frank, my publicist, in
New York, who promoted my books all
over the USA and Canada, where I
talked myself dry. Griffin Web
Design, who maintain my site in
excellent order. Fellow writer, Eddy
Motketsan, author of WOUNDED CROWS
DON'T FLY, who allows me to cry on
his email shoulder when we
commiserate about problems in the
publishing world. Vid Beldavs from
AuthorHouse, who puts up with my
kvetching. And lots of other shy
individuals whom I'm sure do not
want their names blasted all over
the world. My husband, J.J., who
will take me to Last Vegas in
January to celebrate our wedding
anniversary because I need another
vacation, and so that I can put some
money on "7" because it is my
favorite number and because the year
2007 should be a lucky year for me.
Last but not least, to you dear
readers and friends, a heartfelt
THANK YOU for your support. I wish
you the best of health, wealth and
happiness for 2007, and hope it is a
lucky year for you too.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
